The visiting Afghanistan Disabled cricket team on Friday expressed its satisfaction over security arrangements here in Karachi.
The visitors went through practice sessions on Friday here at National Stadium and said that they were happy to be here for international T20 and ODI series and were least concerned about security issue.
The two teams will play three T20 and two One-Day International matches from February 22 to 27 here at National Stadium.
“The arrangements are good and we are happy to be here to play cricket. We don’t have any security issue and everything seems alright here,” Afghanistan captain Nabiullah told reporters on Friday during their practice session.
After attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore back in 2009, international cricket has virtually been ceased while few low profile teams intermittently tour the cricket crazy country.
